History

LEGION OF DOOM M.C. was founded in 1997 by Lucifer. The club formed from Lucifer's passion for bikes and taking sport bike riding to a new level.

Before deciding to start LOD, Lucifer looked to join a bike club. Lucifer was not content with the idea that the bike clubs he saw were, all black, all Hispanic, or all white. Lucifer wanted something where everyone could feel comfortable regardless of race, religion, or financial background.

Lucifer then walked to Camrod Motor Sports to buy his first bike, where he met Mika, who also was buying his first bike. Shortly after, they became friends and Mika was the first LOD member.

The club has since evolved into an indestructible brotherhood with many chapters across. Each chapter follows the same rule book and is part of the same LOD family. Each chapter provides places to stay and people to spend time with when away from home. The largest chapter, which is in Brooklyn where the club originated, has their meeting every Wednesday.

Legion of Doom is about riding, being a family, enjoying our bikes, and having a good time. LOD represents Brotherhood, Loyalty, and keeping what we feel most is important first, riding motorcycles.

Legion of Doom has set the standards for other motorcycle clubs. We are often imitated, but never duplicated.

Colors

The Patch or "Colors" is the motorcycle club insignia.

On the back of the vest, the top says Legion Of Doom and the bottom is the chapter's location. These are called rockers.

Our center logo, the skull and Mohawk, represents the freedom in which American Indians died for, and vowed to protect until death. We are representing that freedom today through riding our bikes as free men.

The small squares with the letters M and C stand for Motorcycle Club, we are a motorcycle club, not a gang, our brotherhood is unbreakable, my brother's enemy is my enemy.

The circle stands for what goes around, comes around.

Patch Color Meaning

• RED: The family bloodline that unites us all.


• BLACK: For the darkness that blinds us all from race, sex, religion, and social class.


• GRAY: For the gray feeling of our fallen brothers and sisters.

Prospects

To become a part of Legion of Doom, you must be approached by a member or have the courage to approach a member.

Introduce yourself and express your interest in joining. Once that takes place, a trial period begins. You will be allowed to attend LOD meetings and take rides with the team.

Your prospecting period will start after you buy your vest, prospect sticker for your bike, and pay your yearly dues. You must prospect for at least one season, that is the minimum to be considered for patches.

After one season you will be considered for your patches. LOD is not obligated to issue patches.

New Chapters

Legion of Doom appreciates your interest in our club and we also appreciate your plans on bringing LOD to a new level. Legion of Doom is a family that doesn't believe in limits in anything we do, therefore under the right circumstances and regulations you may be on your way to be the next president or member of a new chapter.
